apologizeswithpieDespite the street name, it turned out the houses were quite lovely.
Greg had spent most of Friday settling in. Unpacking, setting up his computer, settling his nerves. All that was code for, well, hiding. One adventure a day seemed like a good pace so far. (and yes, going to another universe and meeting someone new counted as adventures. Oh, maybe that was two adventures a day. He could handle that, right?)
But he hadn't slept incredibly well last night. Unfamiliar bed, unfamiliar sounds, not home.
He would explore a bit later, once he'd fully shaken the cobwebs out and given the coffee a chance to flip his breakers.
